Tenebrae on Good Friday at 7.30pm

There will be a Tenebrae service at St. Anne’s on Good Friday starting at 7.30pm. The service is a special form of Matins and Lauds where the purpose is to recreate the emotional aspects of the Lord’s Passion and Death. The service begins with the church being solely lit by 15 candles and ends with darkness and the strepitus (loud noise).
